St. Philip School which opened in 1910, a small rural school, is located on Route 8 in Melbourne Ky.
It is a Kentucky State accredited school with fully certified teachers, and houses grades K through 8.
The educational advantages are many because of the small teacher-pupil ratio usually below 1: 18. We place above the national norm on achievement test score.
Along with the academics the school offers opportunities for spiritual and social growth through Liturgies, Sex education, Everybody Counts program, Service projects, Field Trips, BEST Partnership, Children's Personal Safety Programs, Computer Program, and Scouts.
