The 5th and 6th graders learned about Ancient Egypt in Social Studies and along with the book work they did some very interesting projects.
In this experiment students learned about how mummies in Ancient Egypt were mummified. The entire process took us five days of observing orange slices wrapped in different ways.
During our Egypt Unit the students completed many activities. In these photos students are illustrating life-size mummy cases.
As part of our unit we studied the hierarchy of Ancient Egypt's social classes. Below are some pictures of us making our hierarchy pyramid.
